Illinois law requires that an individual complete 45 hours of educational training in order to take the state managing broker’s licensing examination. These 45 hours consist of 2 part courses a 30-hour live or live online course and a 15-hour interactive training course.
Becoming a real estate managing broker allows you to work independently (self-sponsored) or for another managing broker. Managing brokers who are self-sponsored may manage and sponsor other licensees.
